The Paris Institute of Political Studies in France, commonly referred to as Sciences Po, is a prestigious academic institution.
The Emile Boutmy Scholarship, named after the founder of Sciences Po, was created to attract the very best international students from outside of the European Union who are first-time applicants and who have been admitted to an Undergraduate or Master’s program offered at the University.
It’s available for both Bachelor and Master’s programs. At the undergraduate level, the scholarship takes on a few different forms, depending on the applicant.
It ranges from €3,000 (US$3,442) to €12,300 (US$14,112) for three years of undergraduate study. On an exceptional basis, a scholarship of €19,000 (US$21,800) may be granted to cover the full three years.
For Master’s programs, recipients are awarded either a grant of €10,000 (US$11,473) per year to cover tuition fees for the two years of the Masters, or a tuition grant of €5,000 (US$5,736) per year for the two years of the Masters.
Deadlines are either Jan 3 (today) or April 8, 2019, for courses beginning in September next year.
